Retired Dogs for Rehoming

Due to having to undergo surgery that will limit my own ability to walk for at least 12 months, I have made the very sad decision to retire some of our dogs/bitches and attempt to find them new homes.

We will not be producing any more litters after this year, for the foreseeable future.

I have not taken this decision lightly, and they will only go to the very best home. Please read the descriptions carefully before contacting us.

All dogs will be castrated/neutered before finding their new homes. We want to stay in contact with each of these dogs, and would love for them to come to our yearly beach picnic etc.

We ask for £500 rehoming fee to ensure they are going to committed homes.

Dumbledore - Dumbledore is a 7yo smooth-coated male who has been a show and stud dog here since a puppy. Dumbledore has won at many champ shows, qualified for Crufts every year, and sired some beautiful pups, but he is now ready to enjoy a quieter life.

Dumbledore is BAER hearing tested, DNA tested for PLL, LOA, SCA, DM and HUU. He is a healthy, happy boy who thrives on attention and loves cuddles.

He is very good with other dogs, and has never shown any aggression, although he has been a stud dog, so may be protective over a female if another male is about (even though he is castrated). He is fine with our house cats, but has chased the feral cats, so to be safe I'd say preferably a home with no small furries.

He walks very well on the lead and has good recall on a walk (we always walk off lead). He was house-trained and crate-trained, but has been kennelled for the last few years, so may take a little while to settle back into a home routine. However, he did spend several months in the house last year, and was exceptional with no accidents. Good to travel in the car, very good with people and children.
